The reorder gap check

Measure the real gap between a first and second order, see how much of it your series covers, and whether your reminder day matches anyone.

The question

“When do my customers come back for a second order, and is anything talking to them then?”

The assignment

Export every customer's first and second order dates, take the median gap, and put each post-purchase flow's send days on the same timeline. If the reminder lands weeks before the median, it is reminding people to buy what they still have.

The whole write-up →

At the pharmacy brand in the article, the plan put the second order at day 73 and the reminder fired near day 89; the store's orders put the median at 111 days, and the reminder matched a real reorder 3% of the time. Only 23% had reordered by day 45, when the new-buyer series ended. The same measurement on your orders.

Numbers in the readout that are not yours come from the article. Fields marked optional sharpen the answer but are not needed for it.

What your numbers say

Still needed: Customers with at least two orders; Median days from first to second order; Day your post-purchase series ends; Share of repeat buyers who had reordered by that day.
